About Cap de Formentor
The road from Port de Pollença winds along the Formentor peninsula to the lighthouse at its tip. In 2026 the DGT restricted traffic from 15 May to 18 October, 10am–10pm: private cars could only reach the Formentor beach car park until it filled, and beyond kilometre 2 only authorised vehicles, including the shuttle bus, taxis and bicycles, could continue (dgt.es). Check the current rules before you drive.
