About The Dry Stone Route (GR 221)
The GR 221, the Ruta de Pedra en Sec, follows old mule tracks and dry-stone paths through the Serra de Tramuntana, the landscape UNESCO describes as a network of terraces and stone works. Walk a single stage, such as Deià to Sóller, or several days between refuges; plan with official maps and the Tramuntana interpretation centre at Lluc.
